Refund Policy
At Thief Brewing, we’re all about bringing you top-notch beer and a great experience. If something’s not right with your order, we’ll do our best to sort it out. Got an issue? Flick us an email at beer@thiefbrewing.co.nz, and we’ll work through it with you.
Damaged or Missing Items
All our deliveries are insured while in transit. If your order arrives damaged or something’s missing, let us know within three days of receiving it. Include your order number in the email, and we’ll send a replacement if possible. If we’re out of stock, we’ll offer a substitute or a store credit.
Shipping Delays
We work closely with our couriers to ensure timely deliveries, but sometimes delays happen. If there’s a major delay, we’ll update you via email and on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Returns & Exchanges
We don’t offer returns or exchanges on beer or gift cards. Beer is perishable, and once it’s out the door, we can’t take it back. If the issue is on our end, we’ll cover return shipping and get things fixed as quickly as possible.
If you need to return something for reasons outside our control, you’ll need to cover the return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your item.
Refunds
If a return has been agreed upon, you’ll need to send the item back in its original condition and packaging within 14 days. Once received, we’ll process your refund minus the original shipping cost. Proof of purchase is required.
Legal Stuff
You must be 18+ to receive a refund or exchange. We comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act to ensure your rights are protected.
Beyond the situations outlined above, refunds aren’t guaranteed. If we agree to cancel an order outside of these terms, a handling fee may apply.
